How do I program Speed Dials on my phone?

Toshiba DK

Each phone has its own set of Personal Speed Dial numbers, usually numbered 10 thru 49. In addition to the Personal Speed Dial numbers, there are System Speed Dial numbers, numbered 60 thru 99, or 600 thru 699, depending on the system. These System Speed Dial numbers must be programmed from the first port on the phone system, usually the receptionist's phone (usually numbered 10 or 20 or 200, your numbering system may vary.) To program the speed dial:

  1. Press REDIAL (or # if your phone does not have REDIAL)
  2. Press SPEED DIAL (or the star button if your phone does not have SPEED DIAL)
  3. Enter the 2- or 3-digit speed dial code
  4. Dial phone number
  5. Press REDIAL

 Toshiba CTX and CIX

  1. Dial #66 (The display shows "SPEED DIAL" and you hear Entry Tone)
  2. Dial the Station Speed Dial number (100~199) or System Speed Dial number (200~999). The LCD shows your digits and you hear Entry Tone
  3. Dial the telephone number to be stored + #. Include any required access and area codes. The LCD shows "SPEED DIAL" + the Speed Dial Number + destination + #. You hear Success Tone.
  4. Release the telephone. To enter another number, repeat the process, starting with Step 1.

Example: To store a Station Speed Dial number on Index 100, dial #66 + 100 + 99495833000 + #
